If the republicans don't get rid of the preexisting condition crap, they are not going to lower the price. Thus they'd own this slightly cheaper insurance bill, which might delay costs a year or two.

I feel we are going to single payer and those with jobs will have insane taxes and deductibles.

here's how it's supposed to work. In nature if an animal is born with a serious genetic defect that animal doesn't survive. Weeding out that gene allows the species to thrive. Now we have this mentality that everyone no matter how messed up they are should get every available medical treatment to not only live but reproduce and carry on that gene and eventually be overrun with people who take so much in resources that eventually overwhelm the system. Say what you want about compassion but at some point you run out of money. What if you had 30,000 people who cost 20,000,000 a year to keep alive? What about meth heads who burn themselves and cost a million bucks each? What do you do when your taxes are at 80%? We are 20 trillion in debt, you tell me where we will get the money for single payer? Nature will win in the end.

Single payer was always the end game when they started this ACA bullshit. Obamacare was designed to fail in order to present single payer as the savior that would pull us out of the ACA mess. Single payer is morally wrong and fiscally unsustainable though. We're gonna get buttfucked in some fashion. I hope someone remembers the lube. They need to make this shit go away altogether.

Bro, you think it's bad now? Just fucking wait. My employer HC is awesome. After we get this shitty single payer, my awesome plan will then be a shitty gov plan that won't cover a fucking thing because I work. Sure my employer will probably pay me a bit more after losing that benefit, maybe not. Either way I'll be out money from taxes or employee benefits. Then, I'll probably have to buy out of fucking pocket supplemental insurance to cover what my fucking shitty single payer won't pay and thus I will be paying double what the fuck my benefit currently is and then some.

Don't forget the republicans with McCainCare during McCain's running for president. We were getting a shitty form of the ACA no matter what.

I have no doubt both parties want single payer.

A Polaris RZR to get to the blood orange trees so you can knock the fruit out of the tree, a Ford Raptor to carry the blood oranges to market, and a center console so you can dump the troublesome blood oranges far offshore in black garbage bags after you murder and dissect them. I've got you all figured out, Dexter. "Business" expenses.

basic insurance coverage for me and my house hold is over $20k a year before any of us even see a dr. i spent $12k cash last year on actual medical costs and roughly $10k of that was due to an atv accident. after destroying the atv i was riding, hospital visits, physical therapy, specialists, and perscriptions. i saved a little more than $8k dollars.

when i broke my neck and back (during the obama admin) i spent $40k out of pocket, i am still money ahead when compared to what it would cost me to have a shitty health care plan.

now mind you i could be seen / treated for free or damn near free if i wanted to / had to use a shitty "pool" of doctors / heath care providers in my area. i will not pay for anyone else's medical costs nor will i skimp on mine or my families health care.
