Seems around 250 to 280 depending on round or hex.


I'm temped to get a hex one. I want to use my c&r.

the funny part is i remember them being $75 bucks, and i passed on them then. i did buy one during the clinton years for fifty something dollars, i think it was $58 bucks. i was happy with it for that price.

savage always has a $50 rebate on their "axis heavy barrel". a .223 or .308 heavy barrel can usually be had for about $325, so after rebate you're about $275 into a sub 1.5" moa rifle. seems like a no brainer to me.

the mosin reminds me of any kinda of anything french. they sucked, it sucked, and they always lose the war. to be a savage, you have to shoot a savage. Dodgy
